| Nichrome wire is primarily used as heating elements and simple resistors in eletronics. Yet, because of its anti-oxidation properties, Nichrome wire is used in many different arts and crafts. For example, it's imbedded in glass, used in the fabrication of dolls and their dresses, jewery, etc. Soldering thin Nichrome wire, even with zinc chloride flux, can be a challange. The wire wrapping tool can make strong reliable machanical connections fast and easy with no messy clean-up. Note: tool will not work with 48ga. wire. For making solderless e-match (examples) use the table below to size the appropiate wire gauge with your power source. |
